Having been in the public eye for his entire life, we have witnessed a fair few of Prince William’s family moments. From pictures of him with his late mother Diana to great snaps of him and Harry, we can’t get enough of Wills. And then he married Kate. And then he had George…and Charlotte. So as he celebrates his birthday, we take a look at some of his cutest family snaps!
After stealing the nation’s heart, Kate Middleton finally wed Prince William in April 2011 with an extravagant wedding at Westminster Abbey. Then came the early announcement of Catherine Duchess of Cambridge’s first pregnancy in 2012. Kate continued with her royal appointments until Prince George was born in July 2013. The nation watched with anticipation before the Duchess finally stepped out of the Lindo Wing, St Mary’s Hospital, London, with her hubby by her side. Sporting her signature blow-dry and a beautiful baby blue Jenny Packham dress, the couple looked every inch the model family – presenting the third-in-line to the throne to the world, they couldn’t have beamed anymore – and melted our hearts at the same time.
However, long before both Prince George and Princess Charlotte arrived, it was clear that Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge doted after their gorgeous chocolate cocker spaniel, Lupo. Kate and Wills spent many a weekend taking their beloved canine for long country strolls so it was no surprise that Lupo who took prize position beside the brand new family in a set of portraits after Prince George arrived home.
Following his birth there were rare occasions when Prince George was spotted but in October 2013 the whole of the royal family gathered for the newborn’s christening – making it a focal highlight of the year. Prince George wore traditional attire, but it was the beaming photographs of a usually calm Prince Charles that threw us – cue over-excited grandparents.
In 2014, the young family managed to pack an 18-day royal tour over Australia and New Zealand. This was BIG news, especially since this was the first time they travelled with Prince George in tow, however the tiny tot managed to steal most of the fashion kudos in a range of adorable rompers.
The Duchess then went on to give birth to gorgeous Princess Charlotte in May 2015. Not to be outshone, Prince George almost stole the show when he arrived to visit with Prince William waving to the waiting crowds. Kate then emerged just hours later with Prince William in yes, you guessed it, another bouncy blow-dry and bespoke Jenny Packham dress.
If we could show just how much love we have for the young royal family we would fill this page with heart-faced emojis, however for now you’ll just have to click through our gallery of the The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
