Paloma Faith is hardly shy when it comes to fashion, and that’s exactly why we love her.
The Can’t Rely On You singer first burst on to the scene in 2009 and wow, did she make an impact. Not known for her subdued style, it’s fair to say that the quirky popstrel always catches our attention, whether she’s on stage or out partying.
Paloma is most known for her Hollywood-inspired frocks and love of all things vintage. She’s been rocking the retro pin-up vibe for years, and no one nails ’40s fashion quite like Ms Faith.
And from her nipped-in, structured smock dresses to her pencil skirts and colourful blouses, if there’s one thing Paloma does brilliantly, it’s dress for her shape.
‘As soon as I became a teenager it became obvious that my body suited this type of tailoring, I have a big bum and a small waist!’ she once admitted, which explains her love of a girly designer two-piece or plunging jumpsuit.
Paloma’s also the biggest colour chameleon in showbiz – there’s literally no shade that frightens her.
From bright yellow tights to *that* Union Jack dress she rocked one London Fashion Week, Faith’s wardrobe is like a kaleidoscope of cool. And as for her festival style? Well, it’s fair to say she is at her boldest when rocking the festival field.
This year’s Glastonbury festival saw the singer working a technicolour cape complete with pom poms and tassels in every colour under the rainbow, topped off with leopard print wellis. Only Paloma…
But while she might be the queen of attention-grabbbing outfits, there is one thing she’d never EVER wear… Ugg boots. Yep, you heard it here first.
Now, let’s all sit back and enjoy Paloma Faith’s fabulous journey through fashion…
