Made In Chelsea’s Andy Jordan Talks Louise, Spencer And Fifty Shades Of Grey
Made In Chelsea series four has got us glued to our TVs - and it's all down to one new character who's stirring things up in SW3 - Andy Jordan.
Andy, a currency broker-turned ladies man has made headlines for his shamless flirting with Louise Thompson and his countless fights with her boyfriend, Spencer Matthews.
Yep, Andy's got a crush, and it's not going anywhere. But thankfully, nor is he. In our EXCLUSIVE interview, Andy tells LOOK.co.uk what's in store for the Spencer-Louise-Andy triangle and where he'd planning on taking Louise on their first date...!
He also talks about Kate Middleton's style, his love for her sister Pippa (sorry, Spencer's brother) and talks us through his dream girl.
He may be a newbie to the cast of the hit series, but he's already one of our favourites. When Andy visited the LOOK office last month, we were completely charmed by him. So sit back, and scroll through our interview to get ALL the juicy goss, straight from the man himself.
Unless your name is Spencer Matthews, and then you might want to look away...

The Spencer Matthews & Louise Thompson Love Triangle
LOOK: Was it always your intention to cause trouble on the show?
Andy: No, not really. I didn’t really realise that Louise and Spencer were an item, so I kind of thought it was a bit of a free for all. An open market! But it wasn’t…

Fighting With Spencer Matthews
LOOK: Were you surprised when Spencer first confronted you?
Andy: I was really shocked. The producers said ‘Spencer’s going to chat to you’, and I said ‘Yeah that’s fine’. But then I was like ‘WOOOAH’!
I nearly got thrown back into the swimming pool.

Taking Sides On Made In Chelsea
LOOK: Do you get annoyed when Louise doesn’t stick up for you?
Andy: She’s in a tough position, she’s got a boyfriend. Louise and I are actually friends. I always feel sorry for someone in her position, she doesn’t want to screw up what she has.

Andy Jordan’s BFF
LOOK: Is it fun having your best friends on the show?
Andy: That’s what made us commit, we’re best friends and it’s an adventure. It’s just so much fun! We were all in pretty serious desk jobs. They were great – I was enjoying work – but I was looking at it thinking ‘Will I be doing this for the rest of my life?’.

Spencer Matthews, The Friend Stealer
LOOK: How did you feel about Spencer taking your BFF Stevie on a spa date?
Andy: I thought that was funny actually because Stevie’s my best friend and I just know that he’s not into that kind of thing. He doesn’t go to the gym, either.
But fair enough, they did know each other at school and I guess they wanted to keep in touch.
Stevie’s such a nice person that’s he’s really sensitive, so he would have panicked when I found out.

Andy Jordan On Joining Made In Chelsea
LOOK: Tell us about how you got a part on the show…
Andy: I was just going about my usual life, which was pretty boring - working as a currency broker - and then I got an email saying ‘Would you be interested in coming to meet us?’.
I’d watched the show a little bit because I’d always known Jamie, so as soon as he was in it I started to watch it.
And then it just kind of happened. We had one meeting, and then another, and then suddenly you’ve got a contract in front of you, and you’re like ‘Oh boy, I’m actually doing it’.

Andy Jordan’s Big Secret
LOOK: Did you know Stevie (Johnson) was joining the cast too?
Andy: The funniest thing about us new boys coming into it was that Stevie and I were both talking to producers at the same time, but not telling anyone because we didn’t want our friends to know.
We were on holiday in Spain, lying on sunbeds next to each other texting the same producer! Then a week later he messaged me when I was at work, saying ‘So, what were you doing last night?’ and I’d been for a drink with the producers to have a chat about how it works.
I ran out of the office, called him and said ‘What do you know and who have you been speaking to?’ and he was like ‘Don’t worry man, I’m doing it too!'.

Andy Jordan Vs Spencer Matthews
LOOK: How did you feel when Spencer told you to get off the terrace?
Andy: I was a bit pi**ed off actually as I was in the middle of apologising to her for making a pass. So I was a bit like ‘For God’s sake, I’m trying to explain!’.

Making A Pass At Pippa Middleton
LOOK: Spencer’s brother James is dating Pippa Middleton. Has he mentioned her?
Andy: So I recently heard. Spencer’s quite good, in that he tries to let his family do their own thing and doesn’t really bring them up.
To be honest, everyone on the show is very protective of their families. We sign up to put ourselves in the public eye, which is something they might not necessarily want, so most of us keep quiet about them and Spencer’s the same.

Pippa Middleton For Made In Chelsea?
LOOK: Would you like to see Pippa Middleton on Made In Chelsea?
Andy: Love to. She’s so hot!
LOOK: Would you be tempted to make a move on her, too?
Andy: Well that would be interesting, wouldn’t it? I don’t think I’m in Pippa’s league though, unfortunately. I think she’s a bit TOO hot.

Kate Middleton = Andy Jordan’s Dream Girl?
LOOK: Do you rate Kate Middleton’s style?
Andy: I LOVE it. I’m really attracted to girls to have a conservative approach to style because I like a girl who’s well turned-out, but relaxed, too.
I don't like too much skin showing. Kate's style just makes me think I could take you home to meet my parents. To meet Mummy!
One thing I really don’t like in girls is when they try to change their hair colour. I think if you stick to your natural hair colour more or less, then you tend to always look great.
Although, some people get their hair dyed so well that you can never tell.

Louise Thompson = Perfection
LOOK: What do you like about Louise?
Andy: What don’t I like? (Laughs) She’s lovely.
She’s obviously gorgeous, she’s very nice, she’s fun. She ticks all the right boxes.

Decision Time For Louise Thompson?
LOOK: Will things get worse with Spencer?
Andy: It’s a bumpy ride. It has its highs and its lows, that relationship. That’s kind of all I can say.

Jamie Laing’s Top Tips
LOOK: Has Jamie given you any advice on the Spencer/Louise drama?
Andy: He said they have history that I can’t compete with.

Jinky
LOOK: What did you make of Jamie and Binky together?
Andy: Jinky was a good thing. They’re both probably two of the best people on the show so they’re quite well-suited.

Rosie Fortescue For Fifty Shades Of Grey?
LOOK: Who on the cast could play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades Of Grey movie?
Andy: I think Christian Grey is a pretty kinky guy… Cheska (Hull) should be Christian Grey, ha!
Rosie (Fortescue) would be Anastasia Steele. Sam would be quite a good Christian Grey, too.

Andy Jordan On The Hills
LOOK: If you could be on any other reality show, what would it be?
Andy: I don’t really watch that many. I would say probably… The Hills?
Just because they get to live in California and they’re all ridiculously good looking and have a seriously fun time.

The Jamie Laing & Spencer Matthews Bond
LOOK: Who would you like to set up on the cast?
Andy: Jamie and Spencer. And then Louise would be free…. hahaha!
I’d set up Stevie (Johnson) and Cheska. They’re both very light-hearted and fun. If I could double date with anyone, it’d be those two.
LOOK: A double date with you and Louise, you mean?
Andy: Hahaha! Let’s take Louise out of the equation for now.

Andy Jordan’s Style Icon
LOOK: Who’s your style icon?
Andy: I always think David Beckham looks good. He’s the same, if he’s smart he’s really smart.
But I’m also a big fan of Prince Charles. Prince Charles wears some classic, really great fitting suits – I like his double-breasted choices. I wear double-breasted. All guys get more stylish when they have a girlfriend or a wife.

Alexandra Felstead, AKA Binky
LOOK: What do you like a girl to wear on a first date?
Andy: Something casual. If it’s summer, a floaty dress. In winter, jeans or leggings. I’m really attracted to that homely look, so I like leggings and a big baggy jumper.
LOOK: A bit like Binky’s style?
Andy: Yeah. She has a really beautiful face, that girl.

Andy Jordan’s Dream Girl
LOOK: Describe your dream girl…
Andy: Sporty, active. I would love to go out with someone who could surf, that would be my dream. I love it, I live for it.
I like a girl who doesn’t take herself very seriously, who doesn’t take life too seriously, and probably a brunette. Not much more to it than that, actually. I’m easily pleased.

Andy Jordan For A Singing Career?
LOOK: Jamie tells us you’re a bit of a singer…
Andy: Did he really? Little s**t. I’m too nervous, that’s the thing. I’m a real bedroom and shower singer.
LOOK: What's your karaoke track?
Andy: Something Buble. Michael Buble’s good. But I’d be too nervous to do it. Unless I was drunk…

Cheska Hull & Sam Cussins = Over
LOOK: Sam was so harsh to Cheska when he said no to her drinks offer… what happened?
Andy: He just panicked. He sent me a hilarious text after that scene saying ‘I think I got my point across to her’. He’s not the best with words.
He’s the best looking out of the three of us by a mile, but I think in that situation he just panicked a little bit.

Spencer Matthews The Beefcake
LOOK: Does Spencer scare you?
Andy: No, no he doesn’t.

Andy Jordan’s Style
LOOK: Describe your style…
Andy: I’m a bit one way or the other, so I’m either really chilled or I’m in a suit. If someone says to me smart/casual I quite like wearing a suit because you can’t go wrong with a decent navy blue suit, a white shirt, and a Hermes tie. No big knots for ties. Keep it small, slick - oh, and clean-shaven.

That Date With Sophia Sassoon
LOOK: How do you feel about Sophia (Sassoon)?
Andy: Sophia’s amazing. She’s great, she’s hilarious. She’s not image conscious at all. She does what she feels like doing, she says what she feels.
I get on really well with her. Her and I are quite similar. She’s just a bit cooler!

His First Date With Louise
LOOK: Where would you take Louise on a first date?
Andy: Well I haven’t really had that opportunity yet. I’d probably do something reasonably boring actually like go for a drink.
I like to do things quite spontaneously, so I’d probably throw something out there quite last minute. Maybe dinner at Sushi Samba actually. She likes sushi.
