Jessica Chastain’s Fashion File

With a much-coveted Oscar (for Best Supporting Actress in Zero Dark Thirty, we’ll have you know) and countless film and TV roles under her wing, it’s no surprise that Jessica Chastain’s wardrobe is seriously A-list worthy. In fact, since her very first appearance on the film scene, Miss Chastain has appeared impeccably groomed while donning classic girlish frocks, cute 1950’s prints and perfectly tailored fits. Pairing this with her A-list status, Jessica Chastain has earned herself the approval of some serious big name designers. Yep, from Alexander McQueen to Givenchy and Armani Prive, it’s pretty clear that Chastain’s classic glamour is something all designers look for when deciding which celeb will be given the privilege of donning their latest creation.

Take this year’s Met Gala. Givenchy chose Jessica to model his unique custom-made gold sequin gown, complete with full-length train. Obvs, Jess rocked it like no other, complimenting the frock with her chic red tresses and porcelain complexion. And at the Empire Film Awards Miss Chastain sported Oscar De La Renta’s floral monochrome get-up with her hair tied back in a sophisticated bun and a red lip to complete the look.

But it’s not just the red-carpet Jess takes fashion gold for – her off-duty looks are equally stylish. When she’s not travelling the world attending worldwide red carpet events, the actress spends her time fighting for animal equality, or keeping her svelte silhouette in tact with a vegan diet (and a vigorous workout routine, no doubt). At the same time, Miss Chastain’s style stands firmly at the helm of her daily doings. Whether it’s a 60’s style mac, tights and courts combo, or a pristine white suit, Jess’ fashion certainly does not fall far behind.

So, to show our appreciation of her influence over the fashion world, we’ve decided to put together our favourite Chastain style moments. Enjoy..
