Harry Styles’ Style Evolution

Take a look back at Harry Styles’ best and worst outfits from Jack Wills hoodies to Burberry suits.

When Harry burst onto our screens a baby faced 16 year old, teenage girls’ hearts across the country melted. As he auditioned week in, week out for X Factor, there were not many girls who couldn’t help but be charmed by his cheeky smile, Mick Jagger-esque pout and floppy mop of hair.

Fast forward six years and Harry may no longer be young and innocent but he remains just as much of a heartthrob as ever. While he might have kept his boyish good looks, one thing that has changed over the times is his fashion sense. The sartorial journey he’s been on is an impressive one to say the least. Somehow this boy from Cheshire has gone from wearing head-to-toe Jack Will’s to sitting front row at Burberry.

Back in the day before he was bessie mates with Ed Sheeran and dated the likes of Taylor Swift, Harry’s wardrobe was just like any other teenage boys. Yep, we’re talking a mix of pretty basic hoodies, tracksuit bottoms and baggy jeans. Nothing revolutionary here.

As time has gone on Harry has carved out his own unique look. For a while this consisted mainly of a uniform of skinny jeans and white t-shirts. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, eh. As his hair has got longer and longer, his look has got more and more rock n roll and these days he is more regularly seen in edgier looks.

When Burberry came knocking at the One Direction frontman’s front door he naturally upped his style game. Team Burberry gave Harry’s wardrobe quite the makeover (the lucky thing), and these days Mr Styles is quite the fan of suave suit when he hits the red carpet.
