Ella Henderson’s style has evolved over the years. The ‘Ghost’ singer, who found fame on X Factor when she was just 16, has gone from cute floral dresses to a more chic look, including plenty of gorgeous black dress, jumpsuits and, of course, who could forget that big bouncy red mane?
Whether it’s the showstopping red dress she wore in the video for number one smash hit ‘Ghost’ or when she’s going a bit more casual in soft knits and jeans, there’s definitely a touch of old school glamour when it comes to Ella’s style. That’s not to say her look is dated though, with added gold embellishments, dark lace sleeves and pink PVC pencil skirts, Ella makes sure she still looks like the young, up and coming singer she is. Her make-up style is always deep flicked eyeliner with neutral lips – a look that will never go out of fashion.
After coming sixth in X Factor’s 2012, Ella, who has been compared to Adele for her powerful voice, was swiftly snapped up by Simon Cowell and signed to his Syco label. She then, as all good pop stars do, took some time to work on her album to make sure it was amazing (spoiler alert, it of course was) and began working with American talent including producers Claude Kelly and Ryan Tedder who have worked with Britney, Whitney Houston and Madonna: now that’s what we call a CV. Her album then shot to number one and she’s now working on a new electro single. Not bad for someone so young, eh, Ella?
Currently touring with Take That and working on some new music, which is bound to be amazing, if it’s anything like her last album Chapter One. We can’t wait to see how Ella’s style evolves next.
