Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an important time for many women throughout the UK.
Not only does it raise awareness about a disease that has affected thousands of women and families nationwide, but it also allows those of us directly affected by the disease to contribute something back to the cause by purchasing a piece of clothing or jewellery that pledges a donation to certain charities helping to fight breast cancer.
High street giants such as Asda and M&S are always quick to offer gorgeous ranges across fashion, homeware and lingerie to help promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Asda’s annual ‘Tickled Pink’ campaign is back, and this year they’ve nabbed some fantastic celebrity ambassadors to wear their official Tickled Pink t-shirts – with all donations helping to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now. Famous names such as Caroline Flack and Alesha Dixon will be wearing the shirts in the campaign, and designer Julien MacDonald is also back designing his popular and coveted ‘bag for life’.
M&S are first in line to bring a gorgeous range of lingerie as part of their Rosie For Autograph collection into the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, together with cute loungewear such as silk camisoles and French knickers.
We’re also loving the super cute pink Mermaid Slipper Pumps from Parisian brand Chatelles – with every pair bought, a percentage will be given to Breast Cancer Research. We can’t wait to pair them with our favourite distressed skinny jeans and an oversized roll neck knit for utlimate off-duty chic.
We think you’ll agree that retailers across the country have really made a fantastic effort with the range of products they are using to promote breast cancer awareness. Whether you are looking to support the cause yourself, or gift an item to a loved one, we’ve found some of the very best pieces out there.
