The Breast Cancer Awareness Beauty Products We Love

Every year we come together to stand for a good cause and fight the fight against cancer. And with so many charities working to put and end to the disease for good, many of our hero beauty brands join forces and do their bit by bringing out limited edition in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, that we can get our hands on and donate money towards the cause.

As is tradition, the special edition products tend to be encased in something pretty and pink, usually stamped with the Pink Ribbon. Companies such as Elemis, Jo Malone and Origins have been committed to the cause for years, working alongside the multiple charities such as Breast cancer Care and The Pink Ribbon Foundation, to help bring about awareness of the illness through numerous campaigns. The Estee Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign has brought people together in over 70 countries to help beat breast cancer in their own unique ways. Over the past two decades they have helped start a global movement which has increased peoples awareness of the disease and helped to raise more then £37.8 million, which has gone to support global research, medical services and education.

While many companies will donate money when you purchase their product, certain brands have teamed up with cancer charity Look Good Feel Better to create their #raise1brow project. One of the major side effects of cancer treatment is hair loss, which includes the loss of eyebrows and eyelashes, eyebrows shape the entire face and a lot of cancer sufferers undergoing treatment loose their self esteem and confidence. Look Good Feel Better is the only charity that actively supports and provides practical services for those suffering from the visible side effects of treatment. You can help by posting a selfie or a video of yourself trying to #raise1brow and nominating a friend to do the same.

So, make sure you do your bit and get your hands on one of these beauty buys that’ll help you look great and do your bit to stop cancer for good.
