Well. It’s safe to say that Zoella is doing alright for herself.
Newly-released account figures appear to show that the 25-year-old vlogger is raking in more than £50,000 per month. In-SANE.
According to The Sunday Times, these numbers indicate that she earned a profit of almost £400,000 in the eight months to November 2014.
Yep. We’re feeling just as depressed about our career choices as you right now…
Zoella – real name Zoe Sugg – set up her YouTube channel back in 2009. It originally focused on beauty tutorials, but she started filming more of her personal life as she became more well-known.
TBH, we’re pretty sure even our dads have heard of her boyfriend Alfie Deyes and their dog Nala by now.
Proving her immense popularity, she recently became the fourth British person to attract 10 million subscribers on the site.
And over the past few years, she’s launched her own beauty range and published two novels. Her debut Girl Online became the fastest-selling book in history in 2014, shifting 78,109 copies in its first week of sales.
So what’s Zoella doing with her dosh? Well, it seems she’s investing wisely, recently buying a £1 million home in Hove with Alfie, 22.
Alfie is also a YouTuber (you may know him as Pointless Blog), and with 5 million fans of his own, he’s reported to be worth around £2.9 million.
Blimey. We think it may be time to get the webcam out…
