Zayn Malik fans, we have some very exciting news for you.
It’s been announced that the 23-year-old is set to make his first UK stage concert as a solo artist, over a year after quitting one Direction.
This gig will also mark his first ever performance of his #1 hit Pillowtalk. Ooh.
He’ll perform at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday 11 June, as part of Capital’s Summertime Ball.
Ashley Tabor – managing editor of Capital – says: ‘Zayn has taken the world by storm with his solo launch and is one of the most in demand artists right now.
‘He’ll be performing his smash hit Pillowtalk, which is the first time he’s ever performed the song! We can’t wait to welcome Zayn to the stage at Wembley Stadium.’
So who else will be playing on the day? Well, it’s a good’un, with acts including will.i.am, Nick Jonas, Jess Glynne, Sigala, WSTRN, Ariana Grande, Tinie Tempah, Zara Larsson and Lukas Graham taking to the stage.
Completing the line-up are Years & Years, The Vamps, Flo Rida, Nathan Sykes, Craig David, Mike Posner and Little Mix.
Erm, yeah. About that. Zayn will be sharing the bill with Little Mix, AKA his ex-fiancée Perrie Edwards’ group.
It’ll be the first time they’ve been in the same venue as each other for quite a while, but we’re sure they’ll make it work.
We mean, Zayn’s now dating American model Gigi Hadid, while Perrie is one fabulous and independent single lady.
Plus, they can probably just choose dressing rooms at opposite ends of the building, right?!
