Things have *seriously* gone off since Zara's appearance on Loose Women yesterday...
Love Island may be over, but the dramz is very much still continuing.
If you tuned into Loose Women yesterday, you’ll know that Zara Holland went head-to-head with Deone Robertson, who became Miss Great Britain when she was de-crowned.
The 20-year-old lost her title after a night of romance with Alex Bowen, a move which many people (including the LOOK team) thought was sexist and outdated.
Unfortunately for Zara, she didn’t exactly have the easiest of times on the programme. When she said she thought Miss GB was a ‘modern pageant’, June Sarpong hit back: ‘There’s nothing modern about having sex on TV. I don’t agree with having sex on TV.’
Zara replied: ‘There was alcohol and it was in the moment. I am only 20 and I made a mistake. I am living with the consequences right now.’
This led to one very interestingly timed Tweet from her fellow Islander Olivia Buckland, who wrote: ‘Think before you act ☺️❤️??.’
Oosh. What could that mean? Well, the 22-year-old – who’s now dating Alex, 25 – later clarified things, adding: ‘Ain’t throwing shade, just my opinion on how to hold yourself as a person, live up to your mistakes don’t hide behind them. We all make em.’
When someone mentioned her night of passion with Rykard Jenkins, she added: ‘I had no responsibilities and don’t have any regrets. Difference is someone blaming alcohol rather than just owning up to a mistake.’
Hmm. This is when another LI girl stepped in – Sophie Gradon. She replied to a fan: ‘& saying Za wasnt drunk as we ddnt get enuf alcohol. One sniff of some wine & Liv was white girl wasted #hypocrite ? [sic].’
Of course, Olivia wasn’t going to let this one go down quietly. She sniped back: ‘@sophiegradon also to confirm – I never said she weren’t drunk – I said just don’t blame alcohol. So don’t worry about that one.’
Luckily, she and Zara (kinda) seemed to make it up. When Zara Tweeted her: ‘@OliviaDBuck I’m not hiding behind them [mistakes]!!! No ones perfect.’ Liv said: ‘True that.’
But then Alex waded in. Crikey. He mirrored his girlfriend by posting: ‘Don’t make excuses and don’t have regrets live with it yeah ??.’
He then wrote this…
