Wearing a low-cut top will affect your ability to do your job.
Of course, we don’t agree with this statement. But if it’s left you feeling outraged, we’ve done our job.
Imagine how one weather reporter in America must be feeling after being handed a cardigan LIVE on air, because of a handful of complaints about the amount of skin she was showing.
In a clip that’s now gone viral on the internet, a KTLA 5 meteorologist, named Liberté Chan, can be seen presenting Saturday morning’s weather report in a pretty black dress.
Just off shot, a hand appears, holding out a cardigan. And yes, this is all happening on live TV.
Liberté seems confused by the floating jumper, and asks, ‘You want me to put this on?’
She continued, ‘Why? ‘Cause it’s cold?’
Then. THEN. A voice can be heard off-camera, explaining, ‘We’re getting a lot of emails.’
She later took to Facebook Live to read some of the comments she’d received about her outfit.
Comments included, ‘totally inappropriate’, ‘looks like she didn’t make it home from her cocktail party last night’ and ‘shows producers should not have allowed her to do it in a cocktail dress’.
Liberté seemed stumped by the reaction.
And we’re right here with you, girl.
