Victoria Beckham has had a seriously busy few days, and last night she topped it all off with a gorgeous appearance at the amfAR charity gala in Hong Kong.
The 41-year-old designer attended the star-studded annual event after a hectic few days in Hong Kong, which she had flown out to to celebrate the opening of her new store.
Stepping onto the red carpet, Victoria was working a chic navy tartan design which consisted of a tight strapless top and long, flattering skirt in the same print.
VB topped off with black court shoes, a bronzed glow and a sleek side-swept ‘do that added a hint of girly elegance. Lovely!
But whilst the mum-of-four looked in good spirits last night, just a few hours earlier she was dealing with a whole load of criticism thanks to an innocent photo she posted on Instagram.
Victoria had already shared a series of snaps from her super stylish tour, but one in particular that showed her standing in front of a group of tourists and throwing a peace sign at the camera got some fans up in arms.
In the picture, it seemed that Victoria was separated off from the gaggle of excited fans by a glass wall, presumably in place to keep the crowd at bay.
‘Those people that have come to support and see her are boxed in. How dreadful,’ one user fumed.
‘This doesn’t look like a zoo at all’, someone else sarcastically commented underneath.
‘Did you meet them through the glass? They can look but not touch,’ someone else pointed out.
Hmm. We think this is a little unfair on VB – for all we know, it was a security measure and not her decision to make at all. And she also posted plenty of other snaps showing her mingling with fans, so really… Let’s give her a break, shall we?
(Plus, there are much more important things to focus on… Aka, those ah-mazing outfits!)
