Tom Hardy might be missing from our cinema screens at the moment, but he’s signed on to produce and star in ANOTHER new movie… So we should see plenty of him soon!
The just-announced project is about animal poaching, and he’s developing it for Warner Brothers alongside another film on the subject, which he’s co-producing with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire.
Poaching is clearly an issue close to his heart – the first movie is set to involve a huge cast and several story strands, though it’s still in very early stages.
Meanwhile, the latest film will be about a former Special Forces trooper signing on with a friend to work in Africa training ranchers to fight off poachers, eventually loving the country and the animals he’s protecting. It’s set to be scripted by Sheldon Turner, who co-wrote Up In The Air, starring George Clooney.
Being passionate about bringing attention to issues like these? We’re going to have to add that to our amazing Tom Hardy gallery and fact file… BS
