The Saturdays have unveiled their brand new music video for next single ‘Disco Love’, which sees our favourite five-piece travel back in time to get their retro glam on (not to mention sport some amazingly dodgy ’90s looks).
The band’s follow-up tune to Gentleman is the latest to be lifted from their forthcoming album, and safe to say it’s pretty catchy. But it’s the video that really makes it – first up we see the girls travelling back to the ’70s and going for glamping gold as they primp themselves up in a field with some hot men (in questionable trousers) and a campervan.
While pregnant bandmate Frankie Sandford does an impressive job of keeping her bump firmly hidden behind the wheel, at least we’ve still got Una Healy‘s denim cut-out catsuit and Vanessa White‘s amazing diva flares to ogle.
Next it’s the ’80s and Mollie, Frankie, Una, Vanessa and Rochelle find themselves surrounded by PVC and perms at a retro roller disco – particularly loving Mollie’s rainbow brights body and Farrah Fawcett side-sweep. Hawt!
But our fave scenes have to be the closing shots from the ’90s breakdancing club which take us straight back to our teenage styling faux pas. Brown lipgloss, plastic macs and twisty Princess Leia buns? Those were the days. And DO NOT miss Frankie doing her best Posh Spice impression with her seriously sleek centre-parting bob and tight ’90s choker… Video gold.
