The Saturdays Frankie Sandford‘s wedding may still be a while off, but it turns out the bride-to-be has already picked her DJ for the big day, roping in none other than bandmate Rochelle‘s hubby Marvin Humes.
28-year-old Marvin is already a whiz at the decks since landing his prime-time Friday and Saturday night DJ slots on Capital FM, so we reckon Frankie’s picked well by choosing the former JLS star to spin some party anthems at her and her footballer fiancé Wayne Bridge‘s star-studded reception.
“I will be DJing at Frankie and Wayne’s wedding, definitely”, Marv, who can also now add This Morning TV presenter to his extensive showbiz CV, told Daily Star. “Wayne’s a great guy. Whenever I’m at a party or round at my mate’s houses I can’t help getting on the decks. You usually can’t get me off.”
Frankie and Wayne, 33, got engaged in April but have yet to confirm a date for their nuptials. And with the pregnant Saturdays’ star due to give birth to their first baby in October, we have a feeling it may not be for a while yet – but when the time comes, DJ Marv promises they’re in for a top quality night of tasteful tunes and club bangers.
Oh. Does that mean a JLS/The Sats mash-up or a cheeky spin of Aaron Carter’s ‘Crazy Little Party Girl’ is off the cards then?
“I’ll play some 80s stuff like Whitney, Madonna and Luther Vandross”, said Marv. “That’s as cringe as I’d go.” Spoilsport.
