The Great British Bake Off is returning to our TV screens tonight, so you best swing by Greggs and pick up some snacks before Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood get your mouth watering with their glorious baked goods once again.
Series 4 introduces a new batch of amatuer bakers hoping to impress bread god Mr Hollywood himself as well as a chic, tweed jacket-clad Ms Berry who has the most ladylike nibble in town.
So, to celebrate Paul’s glistening blue eyes and witty duo Mel and Sue making us spit our tea out as they chat soggy bottoms and fondant fancies, we’ve taken our beady eyes to Instagram to pick out our favourite celebrities who have caught the baking bug. Good to know it’s not just us, right?
But we’re not stopping there because we’ve gone a little bit GBBO mad, and this bit invloves you lot!
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a cake queen and want to showcase your masterpiece – or once made some burnt chocolate chip cookies (but you can’t really tell because they were brown anyway so you took a photo), we want you to send us your baking snaps. Head to Twitter, post a picture of your baking beauties and tag @Lookmagazine and #LOOKBakeOff so we can see we’re not the only ones who can’t get enough of that rolling pin.
Don’t be shy, we’d be impressed by a hunk of bread…
Fill the huge (cake) hole in your life by watching The Great British Bake Off trailer before it airs at 8pm on BBC2 tonight and don’t forget to send us your cookery snaps. Happy GBBO day!
