Steven Avery’s New Letter Is *Very* Revealing

The whole internet has been wading in with theories about who might have killed Teresa Halbach.

After all, it’s one of the most pressing questions if you happen to have finished the Making A Murderer series and also happen to beieve in Steven Avery’s innocence. If Steven really didn’t do it, who did?

Ever since the Netflix documentary went viral, the internet hasn’t stopped digging. Fans have made new discoveries, and even a former FBI investigator has offered up a theory, linking the murder and framing of Avery back to a renowned serial killer.

Steven Avery is currently serving his life sentence for the crime. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t formed a theory of his own.

In fact, according to a handwritten letter shared on his lawyer’s Twitter, Steven thinks he KNOWS who committed the crime.

It reads, ‘To my supporters: I want everyone to know that no one in my family including me was involved in the murder of Teresa Halbach.’

He goes on, ‘It is obvious who killed Teresa but the Manitowoc Cops chose not to investigate him so they could frame me.’

Scrawled across the bottom reads the line, ‘Just like the first time.’

If you’re familiar with the story (which, let’s be honest, by now you should be), Steven previously served 18 years in prison for a crime that he didn’t do.

So, has this happened again?

Steven’s lawyer is hard at work to find out. And we guess we’ll have to wait and see…
