Stars Pay Tribute To Michael Clarke Duncan

Celebrities have been paying tribute to Green Mile and Armageddon actor Michael Clarke Duncan, who passed away yesterday. The 54-year-old had never fully recovered from a heart attack he suffered back in July. Michael, a former bodyguard to the stars, rose to fame after appearing in The Green Mile alongside Tom Hanks in 1999.

Today, Tom said: “I am terribly saddened at the loss of Big Mike. He was the treasure we all discovered on the set of The Green Mile. He was magic.”

A number of other stars have paid tribute to Michael, and offered their sympathy to his fiancee, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth.

Conor Maynard said: “R.I.P Michael Clarke Duncan, The Green Mile is one of my all time favourite films, hurts losing such an amazing talent…”

Olivia Munn said: “Michael Clarke Duncan always had a smile on his face & a big bear hug ready for you. My thoughts & prayers are with his family & friends.”

Rosario Dawson wrote on Twitter: “Oh no! Michael Clarke Duncan was such a lovely sweetheart! Too young!”

Paris Jackson said: “Damn…. rip michael clarke duncan , you were amazing dude ):”

Samuel L. Jackson said: “I’ll miss the Big Bass, the Big Smile & the Big Hug. Michael Clarke Duncan, gone too soon!”

While David Boreanaz ‏simply stated: “R.I.P. my friend Mcd. I will miss you.”

Sending lots of love to his family… RM
