Drop down and give us ten burpees… Because Sport Relief is back and 2016’s looks like it’s going to be better than ever.
And if you’re not the run up buildings, swim the Thames, cycle the breadth of the country type gal, don’t worry because the TV line-up this year is EXCELLENT. Meaning you can support the cause in your pyjamas, remote in hand.
The campaign which runs from the 18th to 20th March (get that date in your diary now!) brings together a host of celebs to raise money for people living incredibly tough lives both in the UK and abroad.
And to help them out the ever-so-handsome Idris Elba is donning his Luther coat in a one-off comedy sketch. Joined by Lenny Henry, Rio Ferdinand, David Lewis, Cecilia Noble, Louis Smith, Ian Wright and his side kick Ruth Wilson, it will be shown on Friday 18th March as part of a night of Sport Relief TV.
Presented by Claudia Winkleman, there will also be other top treats including the return of The Great Sport Relief Bake Off (with Sam Cam showing off her baking skills) and Famous, Rich and Homeless with celebs experiencing first hand what it is like living rough on the streets of London.
As for who will be the next Davina or David Walliams The Sport Relief Challenge, sponsored by BT, is also back and the brave celeb will be announced soon. Who would you love to see take on a mega challenge?
You don’t have to be a celeb to get sporty either, they’re asking us all to walk, run, swim or cycle at the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Games between the 18th and 20th March. Find your nearest event here.
