Pregnant actress Sophie Austin has been spotted filming in Manchester alongside co-star Michelle Keegan...
We’ve gotta say, we’re starting to get pretty excited about new ITV drama Tina And Bobby.
Telling the story of legendary footballer Bobby Moore and his wife Tina, it stars Michelle Keegan and Grantchester‘s Lorne MacFayden in the title roles.
Noticed that Michelle is rocking blonde hair right now? Well, that’s all for this show.
There are some other recognisable members of the cast. Patsy Kensit will play Tina’s mum Betty, while ex-Hollyoaks lady Sophie Austin also has a part.
Sophie, 32, has been spotted filming with 29-year-old Michelle on a couple of occasions, first recreating a shopping scene in Manchester last month.
The ladies were decked out in 60s-style outfits, with Mich rocking a pink houndstooth jacket, a matching skirt and cool cat-eye sunglasses. As she’s portraying Tina over a number of years, she’d added a light brown wig to her look.
Sophie looked just as cool in her vintage ensemble, sporting a mint-coloured twinset and a checked coat.
Then yesterday, she was seen in a yellow mini and floral cover-up. Ooh. And is that a teeny-tiny baby bump we spy…?!
Sophie and her boyfriend Shayne Ward announced that they’re expecting their first child earlier this week, with the actress Tweeting: ‘After much speculation I’m over joyed to announce that @shayneTward and I are expecting our first child. #blessed.’
Of course, the majority of fans are thrilled for them. But unfortunately, not all of the Tweets were entirely positive. *Sigh*.
Some focused in on the fact that the couple only confirmed their romance four months ago, and that Sophie is recently divorced.
But Sophie isn’t letting the negative attention get her down. Instead, she’s focusing on work, Tweeting this morning: ‘Thanku for a lovely day yesterday @patsy_kensit ?sterday @patsy_kensit ? [sic].’
She also wrote on Instagram: Loving every minute of this 6 week adventure feel so lucky to be a part of this !! #itv #tinaandbobby #drama.’
Aw. We can’t wait to see it, lady!
