The gossip mags love to speculate about affairs – and in particular on-set romances – so the recent rumours surrounding Brad Pitt and Sienna Miller did not come as much of a surprise.
A recent story in U.S gossip mag In Touch Weekly claimed that Angelina Jolie was unhappy about the amount of time that Brad and Sienna were spending together while filming The Lost City Of Z.
The report alleged that Jolie was upset about the flirting that had taken place between the pair on set of the film, which Pitt is producing and Miller is starring in. The film – which follows the story of a British explorer who goes missing in the Amazon – has just finished filming and is set for release at some point in 2016.
The story did seem a little far-fetched and Miller has now shut down the rumours while speaking on American radio show, Sway In The Morning. In New York for a press tour, Miller was on the show to promote her new film, Burnt, a movie about a troubled Michelin star chef played by Bradley Cooper.
When Miller was questioned about the topic she laughed off the allegations. “I haven’t really read too much about it, but break it down, let’s clear it up,” she joked.
And Miller went on to explain that she has only met the actor twice while filming, calling the rumours “insane”.
“So the truth about that rumour is that Brad Pitt is producing the movie that I just wrapped but I haven’t seen him. He’s not been to the set, he’s a producer on the film and I’ve met him twice, and yeah, it’s insane,” Miller clarified.
Well, that surely put that rumour to bed.
