Scott & Kady Talk About Their Future On This Morning

Scott Thomas and Kady McDermott may have come third in the Love Island final. But they were definitely one of the most popular duos of the series.

With their many highs and lows, they were one of the most relatable couples on the show. We fell for Scott’s adoration for his ‘pocket rocket’, and we LOVED Kady’s feisty side.

Now they’re back in the UK, they’ve been continuing their PDA across social media – thanks, guys! – and keeping fans posted about how loved-up they still are.

Yup. We’re obsessed.

Today, the couple joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on the This Morning sofa. And they wasted no time in defending their fiery relationship.

Scott agreed that he knew he was being ‘mugged off’ following his conversation with brother Adam Scott, but he said, ‘I knew what I was fighting for’.

Our hearts have melted.

He explained, ‘People didn’t see how close me and Kady were one-on-one.’

Kady admitted that she was a little worried about how people might take her hot-headed personality.

She told Holly and Phil, ‘I was thinking that everyone was going to hate me.’

Talking about that time she was locked in the hideaway, she went on, ‘I’ve been nothing but myself, I thought if people didn’t like me, they didn’t like me for myself. In that environment your emotions are multiplied by a thousand. It’s not a normal environment.’

But, where do they see their relationship going now?

Scott said, ‘One million per cent [they have a future]. We knew that even before we came out.

‘We had our room service [at the hotel] last night and a cosy night. It was amazing. We’re both excited about each other so much and we can’t wait to see where it goes.’

The 28-year-old also confessed that he’s been shocked by the fan support for their relationship, explaining, ‘We know it’s been a rocky road and we didn’t know how people would take it but they’ve been behind us.’

We still are, guys.
