The Coronation Street lady married her man on Saturday...
Saturday was very special for Samia Ghadie and Sylvain Longchambon… it was their wedding day!
The loved-up pair tied the knot at Delamere Manor (Gary Barlow’s old home, don’tcha know) in Cuddington, Cheshire.
They were joined by a number of famous faces, including Samia’s Corrie co-stars Antony Cotton and Catherine Tyldesley.
Catherine, 32, sent her congratulations to the happy couple on Twitter, writing: ‘The most gorgeous day for a beautiful couple!!
‘Thankyou @realsamia and @slongchambon – an amazing love filled day. Congrats xxxx [sic].’
A day before, 41-year-old Antony had captioned a photo of a wedding card: ‘We’re so excited….! @realsamia @slongchambon.’
Aw. It seems the Corrie lot were out in force, as Corrie‘s Kym Marsh and Jane Danson – who play Michelle Connor and Leanne Battersby respectively – had been among Samia’s hens in June.
So what deets do we have about the ceremony itself? Well, according to The Sun, guests arrived in a gold cart and wedding favours were cookies with the initials S&S on them.
The venue features six bedrooms, its own nightclub, three huge reception rooms, manicured gardens, a Victorian pump house and a six-acre lake. Not too shabby, eh?
Samia met French dancer Sylvain, 36, when she was partnered with him on Dancing On Ice back in 2012. They announced their engagement last May and welcomed son Yves Joseph in September.
It’s the second marriage for the 34-year-old, after she wed property developer Matt Smith in 2005. They had daughter Freya in 2009 before announcing their split in 2011.
We hope Samia and Sylvain had a wonderful day on Saturday. Huge congratulations, guys!
