Sam Faiers Has Some Exciting News To Share With Us

It’s official! There’s going to be a full series of Sam Faiers: The Baby Diaries.

After the success of Sam’s one-off documentary – which was filmed throughout her pregnancy with son Paul Tony – she’s landed her own six-part series.

Reportedly to be named Sam Faiers: The Mummy Diaries, it’ll give us a glimpse into little Paul’s first few months. Aw.

We’ll also get to see the 25-year-old as she settles into life as a mother, juggles her career and deals with the pressures of being in the spotlight.

But of course, there’s one person other than Sam and baby Paul that we’ll be reunited with – Sam’s boyfriend Paul Knightley.

In case you’ve forgotten, he caused quite the reaction when the show first aired back in February.

Insults were thrown his way after viewers watched him taking a nap while Sam was in labour and refusing to cook for himself.

One viewer wrote: ‘Not a fan of Sam faiers’ some boyfriend at all!’ while another commented: ‘Sam Faiers’s boyfriend isn’t very popular is he.’

> Not *everyone* was impressed with Paul Knightley on The Baby Diaries

Sam was quick to defend her man, writing on Instagram: ‘Wow Paul really is getting some stick. I wish people wouldn’t look into it so much. It’s just a tv show edited & made for good viewing.

‘Yes he fell asleep reading baby books, didn’t attend yoga & no he doesn’t cook but he is the most caring loving man I know. & the best daddy to baby Paul.

‘Also I’d like to add… This is then man who got me better from Crohn’s disease. Months of studying and researching to find me alternative natural medication. He’s my hero . xxx.’

And it seems she’s now looking forward to having the opportunity to prove audiences wrong.

She says: ‘I am excited to be doing my own six-part series for ITVBe.

‘The feedback from The Baby Diaries was so overwhelming and I am really looking forward to letting the viewers follow me in my day to day life with baby Paul during my first year of motherhood.’

We’ll definitely be tuning in, lady.
