Saint West has arrived.
In true Kardashian form, new parents Kim and Kanye kept the world guessing at the name of their new bundle of joy all weekend, before finally revealing his name on Monday night. And the meaning behind the choice is actually pretty sweet, don’t you think?
Rumours had been flying around the internet about potential middle names, but E! News have now confirmed that little Saint will not have one. So, just like older sister North West, he will go by a first and last name only.
It really is just Saint West.
Kim gave birth to her little boy on Saturday morning, in the famous Cedars-Sinai Hospital in LA, which seems to be a celebrity-favourite.
The mum-of-two and her husband have now taken their newborn home, and a source close to E! have confirmed that Kim is ‘recovering and doing well’.
We’ve no doubt that sister North is brimming with excitement at meeting her new little brother. Speaking to E! news just days before she went into labour, Kim revealed: ‘We talk about baby brother all the time… She’s so sweet and yesterday she said, “Mommy, can I give baby brother a kiss on your tummy?” and she kissed my stomach.’
It seems that we might have to wait a little longer before seeing Saint West for the first time, as Kimye have reportedly decided to keep their son out of the spotlight for a while.
According to TMZ, the new parents have decided not to allow their second child to appear on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which makes sense considering that North did not make a reality show appearance for her first year.
Even now, Kim and Kanye – understandably – are very strict about it, only allowing her to be filmed for the show under strict conditions, for special occasions.
We’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed for an Instagram snap….
