has spoken out about their three-week-old son George for the first time at the Duke of Cambridge’s first official engagement since the royal baby birth, describing his and Kate’s tiny royal arrival as “loud, and extremely good looking.” Aw!
Addressing the packed crowds earlier today at the Anglesey agricultural show in Wales, where 31-year-old Will is currently residing during his last month of work with the RAF Search and Rescue team, the proud new dad spilled about life at home with his and Kate’s little Prince. Watch the video below!
“Catherine is sorry she cannot be here,” he said about his wife, who is currently looking after baby George at her parents’ home in Berkshire. “She and George would have loved to have been here. He is pretty loud, and of course extremely good looking!”
Kate and George are due to join Will in his Welsh abode later this month – and it sounds like the daddy Duke is gearing up for a few sleepless nights once mother and baby arrive. “I have to say, I thought search and rescue duties over Snowdonia were physically and mentally demanding, but looking after a three-week-old baby is up there!” he added.
Anglesey local Joan Roberts, 70, also chatted to Kate’s hubby at the show about his new duties as a father. “He told me that he hopes he [George] will sleep through the night soon and I congratulated him”, she said. “It was quite awesome really. It was really nice to see him because he has been living here for such a long time and it was the first time I have met him. It was really lovely.”
Sounds like fatherhood definitely suits him. We bet he can’t wait to be reunited with his handsome little man again!
