Robert Pattinson is forgetting his troubles and jetting off to Canada for the summer, it has been revealed.
The Twilight star has rented a luxury pad at a lake in Toronto throughout July and August with his sister Lizzie as he escapes the fallout from his split from Kristen Stewart and his controversial friendship with Katy Perry. The plush home comes with a speedboat moored nearby and apparently the 27-year old intends to take full advantage, spending the summer relaxing with his sis.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Rob is renting a house in Bloor West Village in Toronto for July and August. Rob needs time away from showbiz drama and loves having his family around him.”
And it sounds like Robert Pattinson has been taking some breakup hints from Taylor Swift as the source says: “They plan to spend their evenings in the garden drinking” – no surprise there, but also “listening to music and writing song.” … well that’s a bit different.
Rob has reportedly hit the piano in a bid to work through his emotions after he threw in the towel on his relationship with Kristen Stewart in May for a second time. This time, because he discovered she had been back in touch with director Rupert Sanders – who she admitted having an affair with on the set of Snow White and the Huntsman.
The Sun has revealed: “Rob’s always had half a mind on his music, but when his film career and relationship with Kristen both took off at the same time, something else had to give. He’s really enjoyed picking up his guitar again properly and it has given him something to focus on during the break-up.” Robert Pattinson is no stranger to the music scene, as his musical efforts have previously seen him record two tracks for the original Twilight soundtrack, but we think these new tunes might be a little bit more heartfelt.
Perhaps Taylor Swift should invite him round for a cuppa and a strumming sesh. What a corker of a duet that would be!
