Rita Ora has been cast in the upcoming 50 Shades Of Grey movie, in which she’ll play Christian Grey‘s adopted sister Mia. Exciting!
The 23-year-old singer, who will star alongside hunky Irish heartthrob Jamie Dornan and US actress Dakota Johnson, confirmed the news on Twitter last night, posting: ‘It’s official! I’ve been cast in @FiftyShades of Grey as Christian’s sister Mia. #FiftyShades’.
Character Mia was sexy CEO Christian’s bubbly younger sister in the books, who also happens to be fluent in French and a pro at the cello… She enjoys a little flirtation with Ana’s friend Ethan in the third novel, so we hope boyfriend Calvin Harris doesn’t get too jels.
Rita’s role in Sam Taylor-Johnson‘s naughty movie adaptation of her bestselling book will be the second time we’ve seen the Albanian-born songstress on the silver screen after her brief cameo in Fast & Furious 6 earlier this year. And seeing as it’s one of the most highly-anticipated flicks, er, of all time, we reckon Rita’s fame is going to skyrocket even more after this.
50 Shades of Grey fiming has already began in Canada, with its release date currently set for Valentine’s Day weekend in 2015.
Who’s excited to see Rita on the big screen?
