Renée Zellweger simply has no time for comments about her ‘changing’ appearance.
We all know the 46-year-old best as the loveable Bridget Jones, famed for her hapless love live, penchant for wine and love of pyjamas. But when the actress had a six year break from acting and returned to the spotlight a few years ago looking slinkier, brighter and a little bit more polished, people were quick to jump on Renée’s new look.
Had she had surgery? Fillers? Maybe a face lift? The rumours were rife about the star’s alleged makeover, when really she had probably just got healthy, started eating foods that made her skin glow and toned up a bit.

Anyway, now that Renée’s back on the promo trail for upcoming film Bridget Jones’ Baby, she’s addressed the speculation about her face once and for all.
And you know what? She’s not rising to it.
‘It’s not really part of my life’, she told the Today Show. ‘It’s part of the job that I don’t experience except when I step into this arena. In my home I’m not aware of it, I don’t do any kind of social media so I don’t see it. I like to have real experiences.
Renée added that she’s happy with how her healthier lifestyle has affected her looks. And whilst she didn’t reject the rumours that she’s had plastic surgery completely, she insisted that she’s perfectly happy with her face, just the way it is.
‘It seems the folks who come digging around for some nefarious truth which doesn’t exist won’t get off my porch until I answer the floor’ she said.
