So, after six weeks of dramz, Nathan and Cara were crowned the winners of Love Island 2016.
They’ve been one of the strongest duos throughout the series, having coupled up on the very first day, and only having a handful of small-scale rows (well, compared to the likes of Scott and Kady anyway).
But how did the internet react to the announcement of the winning couple (who won with 54% of the vote)?
Former islanders were, of course, the first to make their feelings heard. Malin Anderrson has been backing her girl Cara since she left, and she wrote: ‘A f******* HUGE congratulations to Nathan & Cara. See you when you’re out #King&Queen #loveisland @LoveIsland’.
She continued, ‘Genuine and most real girl. F****** beaut couple’.

Sophie Gradon was happy to see Nathan and Car’ scoop up the prize, but did seem pretty shocked that Olivia and Alex came second. She tweeted, ‘WTF!!!!! Scott & Kady in 3rd… Did not see that coming, thought 1st or 2nd!’
Others seemed to agree, with fans commenting: ‘Can’t believe Scott and kady didn’t win’ and ‘Scott and Kady deserved 2nd place I reckon but Nathan and Cara 100 percent were due to win’.
Kady’s ex Sam Reece, who hasn’t shied away from sharing his thoughts throughout the series, also tweeted his way through the final, announcing: ‘Yes @NathanMassey_ and @Miss_Delahoyde much deserved…’
So he wasn’t backing Kady, then…
Were you happy with the results?
