Prince Harry is known for his cheeky, boyish antics, but he shocked everyone during a recent radio interview.
The 31-year-old joined Chris Evans for his Radio 2 show earlier this week, where they got busy discussing the upcoming Invictus Games.
The sporting event will see wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel taking part in a whole host of activities, including Wheelchair basketball, Sitting volleyball and Indoor rowing. And Harry couldn’t be a bigger fan.
Expressing his excitement at the upcoming event, William’s younger brother said: ‘It is epic amounts of fun, and it’s for everyone. And these guys are fantastic ambassadors for going out there and putting on a show.’
‘They want to be able to serve their country again, put the Union Jack on their left breast and kick the arse out of life.’
Erm, hang on. Did a member of the royal family just say ‘arse’ live on air?! Yes, yes he did.
Whilst it’s hardly the worst swear words of them all (some people don’t even consider it a true swear), it’s no secret that the royal family are expected to maintain a certain sense of decorum at all times.
But that’s exactly why we love Hazza. Because sometimes, he slips up and behaves just like the rest of us…
And whilst Harry’s naughty blunder caused a bit of a reaction on Twitter, it wasn’t like anyone was really offended.
‘Prince Harry just said arse on Radio 1… love the younger royals #princeharryisawesome’, one listener tweeted.
‘OMG PRINCE HARRY SWORE ON AIR… All he said was arse and here’s me thinking it was a real swear word’, one person tweeted.
Looks like the Prince really can do no wrong!
