Kate Middleton has had our attention lately, after announcing her pregnancy and her short hospital stay – but Pippa Middleton stepped back into the limelight yesterday, to promote her book, Celebrate, in Holland.
Wearing a purple satin dress, Pippa was all smiles as she posed for photos with her book, and in an article for The Spectator magazine, she’s defended her book against recent criticism.
While admitting she’s been “much teased” about the book – especially on spoof Twitter account @pippastips – she says she’s taking it lightly and that it’s “all good fun”.
“But in my defence. Let me say this: Celebrate is meant to be a guide to party planning and, as such, it has to cover the basics. If I were to write a cookery book, for instance, I would be compelled to say that, to make an omelette, you have to break at least one egg.”
Pippa even jokingly suggested a sequel called Bottoms Up! We love her sense of humour… BS
