Peter Andre and wife Emily MacDonagh announced some very happy news yesterday – they’re going to be parents for the second time.
The Mysterious Girl singer announced his and Emily’s exciting baby news via a scan on Instagram, alongside which he wrote: ‘OMG Dad to be AGAIN :))’.
The pair already share daughter Amelia together, and are clearly over the moon to be welcoming a second child.
But amongst the congratulatory messages and notes of support, some fans pointed out something rather confusing about the scan.
If you look along the top, the name reads ‘Andrea Emily Elizabeth’, which prompted fans to question what on earth Emily’s name actually was.
‘Fab news… Shame the hospital spelt her last name wrong…’ one fan observed.
‘Or are you spelling yours wrong lol x congrats to you all (sic).’
The mystery was soon settled, however, when one fan explained that Emily’s surname is actually Andrea, not MacDonagh. Who knew?!
‘Andrea is her surname not middle name’, one fan stated.
Peter also explained this confusing fact in an interview last year, saying: ‘It’s really funny that people still think Emily’s last name is MacDonagh, but it’s actually Andrea – pronounced Andre.
‘She changed it as soon as we got married and loves using it’.
Well, that’s settled then! Congrats, you two.
