You can’t have missed Cara this week as she gave photographers an eye-full in her super short dress on the red carpet, but what was the film she was promoting? It’s called Pan and we’ve got all the deets…
Directed by Joe Wright of
Pride & Prejudice
is a modern day adaptation of J M Barrie’s 1902 novel with a twist. Reimagining the classic fairytale for 2015, Wright decided to focus on Peter Pan’s back story.
Living a miserable life in a London orphanage after being abandoned by his mother, a 12 year old boy called Peter finds himself whisked away to the magical world of Neverland. Adventure awaits as he meets James Hook and Tiger Lily as they work together to save Neverland from pirate Blackbeard, and he discovers his true destiny as the hero, Peter Pan.
Hugh Jackman plays the ultimate baddie, pirate Blackbe
ard and look unrecognisable (and nothing like his usual hot self),
creepy bald and beard combo. The stellar cast list continues with
Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
star Rooney Mara playing Tiger Lily and Amanda Seyfried playing the role of Mary, Wendy’s mother.
The star studded line up is completed with no other than fashion’s finest, Cara Delevingne. Cara – who is much more at home on a film set than a catwalk these days lives out our childhood dreams and plays a mermaid. The film uses clever CGI to transform the supermodel into a mermaid complete with a purple, glittery tail and long blonde locks. Earlier this year Cara showed a sneak preview of her new look via Instagram and captioned the pic, “
Mermazing! So excited for you to see the Pan trailer! It’s gonna be a wonderful movie”.
Levi Miller, the cuter than cute child star who plays Peter as a boy, was found after casting directors auditioned thousands of boys across America and Australia before they found their Peter in Brisbane. Having being propelled to stardom, the lucky 12 year now models for Ralph Lauren and is already proving popular with the ladies – he caused quite the storm at the London Pan premiere as he posed with Cara and Suki on the red carpet.
The film hits cinemas on the 9th October and we can’t wait for this one.
