One Direction's Louis and Niall have been receiving some *horrible* messages :(
Sigh. It appears that online trolls are at it again.
As downright infuriating as it is to see some of the ridiculous – and hurtful – comments left online by trolls, we just love to see a celebrity fighting back.
One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan have, sadly, become the latest celebs to be targeted by nasty comments. And they’ve taken to Twitter to hit back at the hate they have been receiving.
The 1D boys were targeted by trolls via WhatsApp – seriously, is nowhere safe? – so, understandably, they are both changing their phone numbers.
Sadly, this is isn’t the first time we’ve heard of Niall being targeted by telephone trolls (we’re so sad that this seems to be a thing now).
In fact, back in May of this year, Niall revealed that he had been getting some unwanted messages from fans, saying, ‘For the last two weeks I’ve been receiving messages off a group of fans, they have drowned my phone in messages… the worst part is they have been nothing but abusive’.
Niall has now confirmed that the trolls have continued to target him during an exchange with bandmate Louis Tomlinson on Twitter.
After Louis tweeted that he had found himself at the brunt of some attention from trolls who had managed to find out his phone number, Niall replied that he had also been receiving similar messages….
It was at this point that the boys decided to fight fire with fire, with Louis replying ‘maybe we should challenge them to a rap battle and destroy them in 64 bars ?’.
Yes boys, a good ol’ rap battle *definitely* sounds like the most suitable option here…
Niall has been struggling with a lot of unwanted attention lately, having taken to Twitter to slam a fan for ‘disrespecting’ his privacy during a recent transatlantic flight.
Niall had re-shared a snap of himself sleeping, which had been taken by a fan after being refused a picture (well, he was unwell) – captioning the snap ‘I think this s*** is unreal. I mean if you can’t sleep on a plane without people taking photos of you, what can u do’.
We hope the trolling stops soon, lads.
