Cara De La Hoyde And Nathan Massey Reveal Upsetting Love Island News

Turns out, that Christmas spin-off ISN'T happening. Waaah :(((

Love Island fans, we have some very sad news for you.

Remember those rumours that we’d be catching up with the crew in a Christmas special? Well, winners Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde have totally poo-pooed that idea. Oh.

The couple tell Now: ‘That’s not happening anymore. There are a few different reasons, but it’s not happening now I’m afraid!’

We’re not gonna lie, we’re pretty gutted. This year’s series was easily one of the most-talked about shows of 2016. And months later, we’re still reminiscing about the good times.

Of course, we get to catch up with the cast via their social media pages. But we’d have loved to have had a sneak peek into Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen’s new home, or seen how Sophie Gradon and Tom Powell are really handling their long-distance romance.

My happiness in one pic! @ab_bowen ? we love our new home ?❤️ (Jumper is @baziicclothing) #OlivesOutfits

Maybe next year, eh…

But not all is lost! Happily, we will be seeing some of our LI favourites back on our screens soon.

Cara and Nathan have revealed that they’ve shot a mystery ITV2 show, where they’ll be joined by fellow Islander Zara Holland.

Zara Holland will join Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde on a new show

Nathan teases: ‘We’ve got a programme coming up in January and it’s very adventurous. I got a black eye from it!’

Cara adds: ‘It’s a little bit scary, I got bruised!’

In the meantime, they’re happy just spending plenty of time together. Nathan says: ‘When people start putting pressure on a relationship, that’s when things mess up. I go at my own pace, she goes at her own pace. Things have worked perfectly so far.’

‘We’re happy, and we know we’re going to be together, but we just don’t want to rush it,’ Cara says. ‘At the moment, everything’s so amazing and we get to come to lovely events. We just want to enjoy it – everything will fall into place.’

Soooo adorable.
