The X Factor judge, recently single after splitting (again) from the Formula 1 racing ace, was in London for the next leg of auditions and her gorgeous outfit was the perfect match to a beautiful summer’s day.
Wearing a hot pink blouse and patterned mini-skirt Nicole accessorised with a waist-cinching belt, black patent heels and jewellery from Katie Rowland’s Morrigan AW13 collection.
But as she shielded her eyes from the sun outside London’s Wembley Arena, the Killer Love singer was also shielding her broken heart. Although Lewis, 28, has spoken out about the split, saying: “I’m going through a really, really tough time at the moment with the loss of someone really, really special in my life” Nicole, 34, is yet to give an official comment.
She did though offer a hint of her feelings recently after a wannabe contestant performed a song about relationship breakdowns, saying: “It sucks, doesn’t it? It really sucks.”
Caroline Flack, fresh from partying at the Yahoo! Wireless festival yesterday, also stole the show on the red carpet in a shimmering Jaeger dress and Zara metallic ankle strap heels, breaking away from her usual shorts style staple.
Before stepping out with her new Xtra Factor co-star Matt Richardson to meet hoards of fans an excited Caroline tweeted: “I’m SO excited about arena auditions today ! Still get goosebumps when the judges do the walk in…”
Gary was quick to play down rumours that his series will be his last when quizzed on the red carpet, saying: “It’s far too early to be thinking about next year. I’m focused on this year.”
And, hinting that ex-judge Cheryl Cole may make a return to partner him in the Judges’ Houses section, he added: “I always ask her to do things, we did the Jubilee together, so I would have her back in a heartbeat.”
Yes, Gary, yes!
