Nadine Coyle is not a happy bunny. The Girls Aloud star has voiced her anger at the band’s break-up, insisting that she played no part in it and “wanted to keep going”. Awks.
The stars announced their split yesterday following their final reunion show at Liverpool’s Echo Arena. Nadine initially seemed fine with the decision to separate, tweeting her thanks to the fans, much like her bandmates had done.
She said: “I love you @GirlsAloud fans so so so so so much! You have given me everything! Thank you, thank you, thank you! All the hairflips, twisted ankles, early mornings, late nights, sore throats, tears & facing height fears are all to try and give you the show you deserve!
“I have seen you many of you at the tour work as hard as us! That is why I cried last night on stage & probably tonight again. Not sad, happy… happy tears. I cannot thank you enough. I love seeing all your faces. Ok more tears. I love you all forever. Xxxxx NC.”
But last night she revealed how she really feels about the band break-up, tweeting: “You should know by now I had no part in any of this split business. I couldn’t stop them. I had the best time & want to keep going. Xxxx.”
Uh-oh. Nadine’s solo track debuted at no.26 in 2010, so it’s understandable she wants to continue to ride on the success of Girls Aloud.
