Miranda Kerr has finally confirmed she IS leaving Victoria’s Secret, after weeks of speculation over the renewal of her contract. The model confessed that she needs to “prioritise her time” for the sake of her two-year-old son, Flynn.
She told The Sydney Morning Herald: “This is a natural evolution.
“The thing is, I’ve been modelling since I was 13. I’m now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realised I needed to prioritise my time.”
Miranda has been with the lingerie brand for three years. Rumours were circulating earlier this month that the brand was planning to ‘drop’ the model, but this was recently disputed by the brand’s CEO. In fact, he said that Miranda had agreed to stay on for this year’s catwalk show.
But Miranda says: “I’m just not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time. It’s three months at a bare minimum.”
We’ve no doubt the Australian model, who turns 30 this weekend, will be perfectly content with her Kora Organics beauty range and contract with high street giant Mango.
With her hot hubby Orlando Bloom and the cutest tot in Hollywood – we can’t blame her for wanting to spend more time with her fam.
