After Professor Green's lyrics about marriage are revealed, it's rumoured that Millie is planning on stepping up her relationship with Hugo...
If you part ways with a pop superstar you have to expect at least a few lines written about you on their next album, right?
So when former Made In Chelsea star, Millie Mackintosh, heard the name of her rapper ex, Professor Green’s, new song was ‘Back On The Market’ – we can only imagine what was going through her mind.
And it seems like Pro, who’s real name is Stephen Manderson, may have gone and pulled a Taylor on the new track which was released last week, penning some lyrics which are rumoured to be about the pair’s recent marriage breakdown.
The controversial lyrics in question include: ‘Why in the world would I remarry?’ and ‘I don’t miss any of my exes’, and apparently, Mill’s is NOT happy.
The tune also contains the lines ‘money can’t buy you class’ – something Pro tweeted when photos of Millie and former MIC flame, Hugo Taylor, first appeared of the couple back together – before adding: ‘But it can buy you class… [inaudible].’
There’s since been speculation that the inaudible lyric refers to drug use, or ‘class As’.
Reality favourite Millie has not taken the news lightly, though, and has reportedly decided to step up her plans to marry new boyfriend Hugo.
The pair got together back in their MIC days but things ended pretty badly when it came out that both of them had cheated on each other – with Hugo even hooking up with Millie’s best friend, Rosie.
But after Millie and Pro Green announced their divorce earlier this year, and it was revealed Hugo had parted ways with long-term girlfriend, Natalie, the pair have rekindled their romance and are now looking pretty loved up.
An insider told Heat magazine: “They’ve been talking about getting engaged for ages, but Millie wanted to wait a while a courtesy to Stephen. But now things are getting nasty and she’s legally single, so there’s no reason for her to consider his feelings any more”
They went on: “In fact, she’s happily tie the knot with Hugo and forget she was ever married to Stephen – it would be the ultimate revenge.”
Another pal said that Millie and Hugo have “very much picked up where they left off.”
Adding: “She’s embarrassed about everything that happened with Stephen, and now she wishes she’d never got married and had stayed with Hugo all along.”
Ahh. We hope things don’t get too bitter between these two.
