Made In Chelsea‘s Louise Thompson and Spencer Matthews faced every ex-couple’s worst nightmare last night when they both rocked up to the same party, the A Curious Night At The Theatre fundraising gala, with their respective new partners Andy Jordan and Stephanie Pratt. Oh, the pain…
Spencer, who split from his MIC co-star Lucy Watson just a few weeks ago, is now dating former The Hills star Stephanie after the new pair went public at the Grand Prix Ball in London last week. While Louise seems to have won back boyfriend Andy after her saucy sleepover with an unknown male ‘friend’, rumoured to be One Direction‘s Niall Horan, as they cosied up at the Apollo Theatre event.
Despite the messy nature of their break-up, the reality TV exes managed to play out their awkward encounter out in style, with Louise and Spenny even mustering up a smile for the cameras as they were papped together inside. Bravo guys, top marks for maturity.
And even Andy didn’t let archy nemesis Spencer’s presence spoil his night, which also saw Jude Law and Chris Martin rocking up on the celeb-packed guestlist, tweeting: “Spectacular evening tonight @Autism #CHRISMARTIN.”
Perhaps it’s no wonder Louise and Spenny are finally managing to be civil – they both seem completely smitten with their new loves. Louise has already been speaking about marriage and kids with new squeeze Andy, telling New! magazine: “We talk about the future in a promising, optomistic way. We joke about being married, what our kids would look like… They’d have good genes but enormous nostrils.”
And Spenny has already introduced his new lady friend to his beloved MIC BFF, with Stephanie tagging along on his and Jamie Laing‘s boys’ night out to swanky London nightclub Aura over the weekend.
Ahh. While we do love the SW3 drama, it’s pretty refreshing to see this lot playing nice for once…
