The 28-year-old actress is set to appear in a racy sex scene, having taken on the role of a Vestal Virgin named Ursula.

In case you’re not up on your ancient Roman history, Vestal Virgins were priestesses of the virgin goddess Vesta, and cultivated a sacred fire that wasn’t allowed to go out.

But Mich’s character doesn’t exactly live according to the rules. We see her ask co-star Joel Fry if he wants to ‘f*** in the cloister’ before accidentally extinguishing the flame during their romp. Oo-er.

The ex-Coronation Street lady has admitted that she was a tad nervous before getting down in front of the camera, but tells The Sun: ‘It was fine, actually. I was playing it with Joel and he was so lovely.

‘It was one of the first scenes we did. It was nerve-racking but he was so relaxed and calm that it helped me. Then afterwards I was like: “Is that it?”

‘It was really nothing to be bothered about. Now I can say I’ve been in a sex scene and it was actually quite fun. I certainly wouldn’t mind doing it again if it was a role like that. I wouldn’t be as nervous.’

Despite having to get saucy on screen, Michelle doesn’t think her role is actually all that explicit. She continues: ‘I don’t think the scene will get guys too hot under the collar.

‘I have watched a bit of it and it lasts, like, two minutes.’

And hubby Mark Wright seems to have the same opinion.

She says: ‘Mark was fine about it. He knows Plebs – he’s a big fan actually. So he knew what I had to do in it and thought it was really funny.’
