Michelle Keegan is certainly one doting wife.
The ex-Coronation Street actress has been supporting her husband Mark Wright as he undergoes some unpleasant surgery.
Mark, 28, posted an Instagram montage of Michelle tending to his needs in hospital yesterday, telling fans that she’d supported him ‘through thick and thin.’
She could be seen hugging and feeding him and climbing onto his bed so they could watch TV together. Aw.
He captioned the image: ‘Your rock !! ‘Not just there for date nights, there through thick and thin…… Pic from other week. Foot op.’
Mark broke his foot back in September (OUCH). He was forced to wear a brace for weeks before doctors told him that they’d need to operate.
But this picture was actually a #TBT. He first revealed he was in hospital a month ago, writing alongside a photo of his leg: ‘Here we go…….
‘Operation time !! Let’s get this foot mended once and for all and back to playing soccer……. Wow I miss it.’
Happily, he now seems to have recovered.
He’s since been back at work filming both his new children’s show The Dengineers and ITV2 spin-off Take Me Out: The Gossip.
Fans were clearly very touched by Michelle’s gesture, with one commenting: ‘cuteness overload,’ another writing: ‘Um…. that’s what you call marriage! Xx.’
One particularly emotional follower said: ‘That’s true love. don’t forget each other when things get crazy!
‘Life happens around you, make sure you are there to live it. And love it with each other.’
It cetainly appears as though Michelle was rewarded with good karma. She Tweeted yesterday: ‘Thankyou to the gentleman who helped me with my bag today on the London Underground. The simple things that make u smile. X.’
Very true, Mich.
