McDonald’s Is Actually Trialling Garlic Fries And OMG

What’s the best thing about McDonald’s?

We’re guessing you said ‘the fries’. And if you didn’t, we mean, are you okay?

Sure, the burgers are pretty great. The nuggets are good. But, those golden sticks of wonder? Other fast food chains just don’t measure up.

So when we heard that somewhere on the planet, Ronald McDonald was looking to shake things up in the potato department, we let out a little gasp.

But, don’t panic. This could be good. Heck, this could be AMAZING.

Why? Well, according to TIME, McDonald’s are trialling something called ‘Gilroy Garlic Fries’ in San Francisco.

According to the publication, these HEAVENLY-sounding chips are ‘made-to-order’ and tossed ‘in stainless steel bowls with a purée mix that includes ingredients, such as chopped Gilroy garlic and olive oil, parmesan cheese, parsley and a pinch of salt.’

DROOL.

The garlic is grown in Gilroy, California (hence the name), which is also known as the ‘Garlic Capital Of The World’.

BRB. We might need to hop across the pond and snap some of these up for lunch.

We don’t know about you, but we’ll be keeping everything crossed for these to hit the UK soon.

Real soon.
