The X Factor winner says it's nothing more than a 'bromance' with him and Freddy Parker after being spotted sharing a 'kiss' on stage...
Okay. So The X Factor’s Matt Terry has cleared up that rumoured ‘kiss’ with Freddy Parker once and for all.
Last night, the two pals nearly broke Twitter when Matt won The X Factor 2016 and Freddy appeared to ‘kiss’ him on stage by way of congratulations.
But now, Matt has broken his silence on the rumoured romance and insists that he sees Freddy like ‘a little brother.
Speaking to Dan Wooton during a Facebook Live session earlier today, Matt said: ‘I don’t know what this is about.’
‘Freddy is my little brother, we hit it off straight away’, Matt added. ‘Since day one, we are just bros man. We have such a bromance going – no relationship I’m afraid guys, I’m sorry to say. Sorry man.’
It was rumoured just last week that two of this year’s X Factor contestants had been enjoying a ‘secret gay relationship’ which none of their fellow contestants or the judges knew about.
But Matt stresses that those two people are definitely not him and Freddy.
Speaking about the alleged ‘kiss’, Terry said: ‘No, I don’t think we kissed but he would have been lucky if I did.’
And upon watching his winners’ moment back, he added: ‘Look at him – he is crying his eyes out. He is my little bro, he is so proud.
‘Do you know who did give me a big kiss? I had a big red lipstick from Nicole. The Four of Diamond girls were saying “You’ve got make up on” and I was like “No please leave it on there.”‘
Well, that’s that then!
