The Geordie Shore star has spoken out about her relationship with Lewis Bloor post-Celebrity Big Brother. And she has also broke her silence on *that* controversial moment with Saira Khan...
Marnie Simpson has only been out of the Celebrity Big Brother house for two full days.
Now, she’s taken to the This Morning sofa to discuss her time on the Channel 5 show.
First on the agenda was, of course, her relationship with TOWIE‘s Lewis Bloor.
The pair sparked up a romance during their time in the CBB house, dropping the ‘L’ bomb, discussing the idea of maybe moving in together, and even getting the approval of Lew’s mum during her visit to the house.
The pair sparked concern amongst fans when some viewers claimed to spot them having an argument in the background of Rylan Clark-Neal’s BBBOTS on Friday night.
But they soon silenced any rumours of trouble in paradise by going on a very loved-up first date.
Speaking of their evening together, Marnie told hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford: ‘It was a lot of fun. It was worth the wait.’
The Geordie Shore star continued: ‘We went bowling and he won, which I’m still angry about.’
Speaking of, err, sex in the house, Marnie admitted that it was really hard not to. She told the ITV presenters: ‘I did try [to not have sex in the house].
‘It was really hard. You get in a relationship and you have so many feelings, it’s hard not to go there. We did quite well.’
Touching on the ‘fake’ showmance rumours that have circled her and Lewis, the 24-year-old explained, ‘I was attracted to him straight away, but I didn’t think what would happen would happen.
‘We fell in love so quickly. We were spending 24 hours together. When he left [the Celebrity Big Brother house], that week dragged for me.
‘That was not what I was planning on doing. What’s so wrong about a young girl and a guy liking each other? Why would it have to be fake?’
So what’s next for them? Well, Marnie insists that they’ll take things ‘slow’, but that she can’t see herself leaving Geordie Shore.
‘I’ve spoken to Lewis and he’s fine with that,’ she said.
As well as the Lew’ chat, attention turned to that controversial moment with Saira Khan.
Ruth Langsford questioned Marnie on her behaviour, which reportedly received Ofcom complaints and led many to brand her a ‘bully’.
Eamonn chipped in: ‘Just show us what you did to her again.’ Errr, we all remember that she flashed her boobs, right?
According to the Mirror, social media wasn’t too impressed by the This Morning hosts ‘flirting’.
Marnie explained, ‘When I came out I was really upset because I seen people saying I was a bully, which is completely not true.
‘The last thing I wanted to do was offend anyone.’
