The Made In Chelsea gang will be celebrating this morning the only way they know how – with a champagne breakfast in a swanky five-star hotel. The cast won their first ever TV BAFTA last night, beating off stiff competition from the likes of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, The Young Apprentice and The Audience.
And if that wasn’t exciting enough for a Monday morning, how about the news that Spencer Matthews and Lucy Watson arrived for their red carpet stroll TOGETHER? Louise Thompson also cosied up to Andy Jordan at the after-party, according to reports. Say whaaaat?
Lucy looked stunning in a white floor-length embellished gown, while Spencer rocked a super-sharp navy blue suit. The pair lapped up the attention from the paps and took every opportunity to show us they’re finally a couple, strutting arm-in-arm along the press pen.
But by far our favourite moment of the evening was when Francis Boulle took to the stage with the rest of the MIC cast to collect their prestigious award.
Francis said: “Who would have thought you could get a BAFTA for being posh?” He added that if the group weren’t on the reality TV show, they’d “just be sitting in Chelsea with no cameras, probably.”
Oh Boulle, you’re just too frickin’ adorable.
Relishing in the spotlight, Spencer added: “Despite popular belief it takes time and effort to make a show like this.”
We bet there are some sore heads in SW3 this morning…
