Made In Chelsea is going cross-atlantic, people. Get ready for a Big Apple takeover, as our favourite SW3-based gang are relocating to New York for a one-off mini-series. Wahh!
Producers of the E4 show have just confirmed that our fave MIC guys and gals are heading to the US to film a six-part special, airing later this year.
‘Empire State Building. Statue of Liberty. Staten Island. Times Square. Chelsea. Guess where we’re going? #MiC’, @E4Chelsea teased last night.
‘Yep, a six-part series of #MadeinChelsea across the pond #NYCBaby’, read the next tweet.
The show’s executive producer, Sarah Dillistone, told Radio Times: ‘We’re very excited about the world of Made in Chelsea travelling to America. New York has a scene buzzing and is sophisticated enough to rival Chelsea, so it feels like the next natural step.
‘We’re going to see the cast out of their bubble for the first time since the show began and I’m sure the result will be nothing like we’ve seen before.’
And the cast seem just as psyched as we are. ‘New York City… We coming for you #micnyc’, Lucy Watson excitedly tweeted. ‘Made in Chelsea are filming a series in NEW YOIRK! Beat that!!!’, added Louise Thompson.
‘MAJOR exciting news for Made in Chelsea @E4Chelsea’, read Rosie Fortescue‘s reaction.
