X Factor fans are feeling a little concerned about Louisa Johnson ahead of this weekend’s semi-finals.
The 17-year-old first revealed that she was run down on Saturday’s quarter-final show, after Simon Cowell called her performance of Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself ‘tense’.
Louisa told Simon and his fellow judges Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw: ‘I’m not very well, sorry.’
She managed to make it through, with Lauren Murray and 4th Impact landing themselves in the bottom two and the latter eventually being sent home.
But bosses were reportedly concerned that her time in the competition may still be cut short thanks to her ‘mystery illness’.
It was also said that Louisa was being kept in isolation and that Lauren and co-presenter Olly Murs had started complaining of flu symptoms. Uh-oh.
A source told The Sun: ‘Louisa is putting on a brave face but she can hardly speak. We’re worried she could be too ill to continue next week. We couldn’t give her a free pass to the final, there would be uproar.
‘If any of the other contestants come down with the same thing we will really struggle. Olly is also sick and struggling. The bugs going round at the moment are really nasty.’
However, Louisa appears to have brushed off these rumours on her Twitter page.
She told her followers yesterday: ‘I have no illness. My voice just wasnt at its peak this week. Semi finals lets get it.’
Thanking them for voting her through, the pretty blonde added: ‘I am sooooo grateful right now! I have the best support ever! I love u so much.’ Aw.
These fans are clearly with her all the way, with one replying: ‘get some rest first and then come back slaying. I know you can do it yay.’
Another wrote: ‘you sounded just as amazing even with a sore throat. Hope your feeling better soon.’
We second that one, Louisa.
